FlowVPN Deal: 3 Months for £7.42 / $9.99 With Code FIREWALL, Plus New Firewall-Beating Protocols

FlowVPN is selling 3 months for £7.42 or $9.99 with code FIREWALL, about 44% off its quarterly rate and the same per-month price as its annual plan. The promotion launches FlowTCP, TLS HTTPS, TLS SMTP and SSH VPN protocols for networks that block ordinary VPNs. What the deal is worth, and two caveats.

FlowVPN is pairing a protocol update with a short promotion: 3 months for £7.42, or US$9.99 in dollars and the equivalent in other currencies, with the code FIREWALL at checkout. The promotion is tied to a set of new connection methods built for networks that block ordinary VPN traffic, which is the one area where this small British provider genuinely stands out. Here is what the price is worth against FlowVPN's normal rates, what the new protocols do, and the two caveats from our review that still apply.

The offer

Detail
Price £7.42 / US$9.99 for 3 months (local equivalent elsewhere)
Code FIREWALL, entered when subscribing or extending in the client area
Who can use it New customers and existing subscribers extending
Normal quarterly price $5.99/month, so $17.97 per 3 months
Saving about $8, or 44% off the quarterly rate
Per month $3.33, the same as FlowVPN's annual rate
Ends Not stated. "Limited-time"; renewal price shown at checkout

The useful comparison is not the discount percentage but the annual plan. FlowVPN's 12-month rate works out to $3.33 a month, and this promotion gives you the same per-month figure on a 3-month term. In other words, you get the annual price without the annual commitment, which is exactly the right shape of deal for a service whose selling point is situational.

What the new protocols do

The promotion exists to push FlowVPN's updated apps, which add several transports for networks where standard VPN protocols are blocked:

  • FlowTCP: FlowVPN's own WireGuard-based protocol carried over TCP. WireGuard normally runs on UDP, which many restrictive networks drop outright. Wrapping it in TCP gives you WireGuard's speed on networks that only let TCP through.
  • TLS HTTPS and TLS SMTP: the VPN tunnel is disguised as ordinary encrypted web or mail traffic, on the ports those services use, so a firewall doing simple port or protocol filtering sees nothing unusual. The TLS settings are adjustable.
  • SSH VPN: a further tunnelling option through SSH, useful as a last resort where the above are also interfered with.

Standard IPsec, OpenVPN and WireGuard stay available, and the new methods are in the latest versions of the supported apps for Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, Chrome and Firefox. If you already subscribe, update the app to see them.

Where this matters: hotel and conference Wi-Fi that kills VPN connections, corporate and school networks with deep packet inspection, and travel to countries that filter VPN traffic. Most consumer VPNs offer one obfuscation mode at best. Having four is a real differentiator, as we noted in our FlowVPN review. Where it does not matter: everyday use on your home connection, where any WireGuard VPN works and FlowVPN's thinner privacy disclosure (below) weighs more.

Two caveats before you pay

Both come straight from our review and neither has changed:

  • No money-back guarantee. FlowVPN offers a 5-day free trial but states no refund window, against the 30-day guarantees most large providers give. If the new protocols are the reason you are buying, test them on the actual network that blocks you during the trial, before the promotion payment.
  • Privacy disclosure is thin. The published privacy policy does not address VPN connection logging, and there is no independent no-logs audit. For getting online through a hotel firewall that is tolerable. For anything where the provider's logging practices are the point, choose a provider that has been audited.

Connection success on restrictive networks is never guaranteed, and FlowVPN's own fine print says so. The honest framing is that these protocols give you more attempts, not a promise.

Verdict on the deal

At $9.99 for three months, this is a cheap way to find out whether FlowVPN's obfuscation beats a specific network that blocks your current VPN. That is the use case to buy it for. If you want a long-term everyday VPN, the price is fine but the audit gap is not, and our best VPN services in 2026 ranking has audited options at similar money.
